Objects permeate our bodies through memory, routine, touch, sight, association, and nostalgia. Objects used in performance have a tendency to reign distant from the performer, used as an extra layer, or after thought. In this workshop, we will research the poetry that exists between object and body, allowing it to manifest tangibly as a synergistic performance/sculpture, each completing and finding definition through each other.
